Welcome to MovieSlap

Hi, I’m AJ, and this is the start of a new movie blog, MovieSlap. The goal is to provide you with quick-hitting information that is easy to scan through, as opposed to long-winded explanations. I also want to spend time on more obscure movies as opposed to your standard Hollywood fare. I’m currently in love with Korean cinema, as they are more edgy and unpredictable compared to Hollywood, but nothing is off the table.

You’ll also be able to read my views of some AV gear, from speakers to headphones to amps and DACs. These won’t be full reviews like you’ll find on other sites. Instead, I aim to have a more conversational tone, like talking to a friend.

I’m joined in this endeavor by my friend Chris, whose Twitter handle is @Fezmid. He currently writes for Neowin.net so is familiar with the blogging process. His own site, FlutterDuck.com, has some content that’s nowhere near as cool as this one, but it’s his piece of the Internet. He might do a few guest posts about movies, technology, and pinball machines.
