Movie Review: F9 The Fast Saga (2021)

Here at Movieslap.com, you can expect to read brief movie reviews without a lot of fluff. Think of it as a launching pad to discuss the film with friends, rather than some stuffy person telling you things that you don’t care about.

I have seen The Fast and the Furious – the original 2001 film that launched the “Fast” franchise – about ten times. It’s one of those “put the clicker down” movies you just start watching when it shows up on cable. Fast forward to last night when I went to watch F9: The Fast Saga. Sadly, this one lost me within the first fifteen minutes when a rickety, wooden, canyon-stretched bridge detached at one end, and magically defied gravity as a 4,000 pound vehicle drove up the far side to safety. Now listen, I can suspend disbelief with the best of them in service of movie-going, but at some point it just becomes too much. I hit that point a few entries back. in the series. Although audiences seem to enjoy F9: The Fast Saga, I’m firmly with the critics on this one.

Score: Honestly, who cares?
